The main feature of this design is the woodburned fairy wings on the handle, which have been lightly stained blue for emphasis. The pommel ends in a tight curl, and the wand shaft features a spiral that gradually thins towards the tip and sprouts leaves.
The fairy wings are first outlined with a carved groove before woodburning the interior design.
The spirals, too, are roughly carved before whittling down the edges. The thickest twists are given a little bit of depth and dimension that aren't easily seen once stained, but keep the wand from feeling too bulky.
